Starting my hair studio is all about finally building a welcoming and comfortable salon / barber shop that reflects who I am and how I want my clients to feel: taken care of, listened to, and walking away confident.

I opened Hair By GV after 20 years transforming hair in some of Toronto’s top salons alongside some of the city’s best hairdressers, including in the Eaton Centre and in Yorkville. I’ve worked extensively with every type of hair, every ethnic type of hair, and provide most services related to hair at an expert level: keratin hair smoothing, hair colouring, balayage, styling curly hair, and all kinds of barbering.

I’m a second generation hair stylist and consider myself a family man. Hair is a family affair for me so I love it when whole families get their hair done together. This is one of the reasons I believe in an affordable cut. I want you to keep coming back whenever you need a cut and style.
